We advise and represent companies and associations in all matters relating to German and European antitrust law.
Our antitrust services range from reviewing the compatibility of individual agreements, such as licence or distribution agreements, with national and European antitrust legislation, to offering comprehensive advice to domestic and foreign companies on complex projects that may have antitrust implications, such as the participation in information exchange systems (market information systems) or the development and implementation of compliance programmes. In addition, we draft and negotiate cooperation agreements for clients in the areas of research and development, specialisation, purchasing and distribution, as well as licence and distribution agreements.
We also focus on advising and representing clients in merger control proceedings before the Bundeskartellamt or the European Commission, as well as representing clients in appeal proceedings before German or European courts. In matters involving foreign law we cooperate with our specialist and reputable partner firms in the respective countries.
We also advise and represent clients in penalty and abuse proceedings before antitrust authorities. Our forensic services include the defence against and enforcement of antitrust claims, in particular claims for default, supplies and/or damages before the relevant antitrust courts.
