Intellectual property and unfair competition law

Our advisory services in the area of intellectual property cover, in particular, design rights and trademarks as well as unfair competition and copyright law. We review and draft licence agreements (e.g. trademark or know-how licence agreements) with national and international parties, review and (re-)design advertising measures from the point of view of unfair competition law, and clarify issues surrounding unfair competition and trademark law in connection with the Internet.

In terms of intellectual property rights, both advisory and forensic services form a central part of our work. The latter involves the defence against and enforcement of claims arising from intellectual property and/or unfair competition law, especially in connection with counterfeiting and piracy. We have extensive experience in dealing with processes in the field of intellectual property rights and unfair competition law, and we are therefore familiar not only with substantive law but also with procedural matters.
